Tetapi kita tidak Tuan sepenuhnya.Kita boleh jadi Tuan dengan ertikata yang bermakna jika orang Melayu berkebolehan dan berjaya dalam bidang ekonomi dan sosial juga. Ini boleh dihasilkan jika kita sanggup tuntut ilmu dan segala kemahiran dizaman teknologi tinggi. Tetapi kita amat kurang berusaha kearah ini. Kita lebih suka cari jalan mudah. Biar sahaja orang bekal segala-galanya kepada kita.
Hari ini kuasa politik pun sudah terlepas dari tangan orang Melayu. Dan orang bukan Melayu tidak lagi menghormati orang Melayu dan institusi-institusi Melayu. Segala-gala yang dianggap sebagai hak istimewa orang Melayu disoal dan dicabar. Dan orang Melayu tidak membuat apa-apa untuk menangkis semua ini dan mengukuhkan kedudukan mereka.
Sebaliknya mereka meminta-minta orang tertentu mempertahankan kedudukan orang Melayu. Tetapi ini adalah usaha "passing the buck" kata Mat Salleh, termasuk alasan bahawa semua ini adalah kerana Dr Mahathir yang memerintah 22 tahun dan pilih Dato' Seri Abdullah sebagai penggantinya.
Nasib orang Melayu ada ditangan orang Melayu. Kita tidak jadi "Tuan" dengan mengungkit sejarah semata-mata. Kita boleh jadi "Tuan" jika kita berani bertindak, kita sanggup menghadapi risiko, kita berusaha untuk menguasai semua ilmu dan kecekapan sehingga tidak perlu bergantung kepada sesiapa.
Penafian hakikat yang nyata dan benar tidak akan menghasilkan apa-apa. Hanya dengan mengakui kita mempunyai masalah yang besar dan kita bertindak untuk mengatasi masalah itu barulah dapat kita tebus balik maruah kita.

Sy sedar kini..
Jika dulu sy tk kisah nk masuk parti apa sbb sy fikir politik itu mainan kotor semata2 dan tk mau terlibat dgnnya... Tapi kini, sy ingin masuk parti kerana ingin mperjuangkan ketuanan org Melayu. Tapi persoalannya, apakah parti itu dan di mana? Pd hemat sy, bukan UMNO, Pas atau PKR..
Sy antara salah seorg usahawan wanita Melayu yg sentiasa berusaha sendiri. Malahan tdk pernah mharap bantuan dari kerajaan atau bank.. setakat jeling2 je.. kalau tk dpt sy tk kesah pun. Walaupun berniaga ini susah dan perit, sy tetap usaha sendiri. Bersaing secara sihat dgn org lain terutama kaum Cina. Skrg dh hampir 10tahun, alhamdulillah sy masih bertahan. Sy sentiasa mgalakkan & mengajak & mberi tunjuk ajar secara percuma di mana yg boleh & mampu agar ramai org Melayu jd usahawan juga.. Rasanya itulah sedikit sumbangan sy pd masyarakat Melayu & utk Malaysia yg tercinta.
Dulu sy sibuk & tidak ada masa utk hal lain kerana sibuk mperjuangkan nasib sendiri dlm bidang perniagaan. Namun skrg sy TERPANGGIL utk berjuang demi mpertahankan masadepan org Melayu.

Saya merupakan seorang kakitangan kerajaan yg sentiasa memantau perkembangan politik Malaysia terutama agenda politik melayu lebih-lebih lagi selepas PRU 12. Disebabkan saya berada di luar Malaysia, saya sentiasa membaca segala suratkhabar,artikel dan apa saja yang membolehkan saya mendapat maklumat tentang tanahair saya yg tercinta ini. Seharusnya saya merasa bangga kerana saya dapat mempunyai seorang bekas PM yg sesungguhnya banyak berjasa kepada bangsa dan negara. Sepanjang bertugas ini saya banyak mendengar pujian dan sokongan negara2 luar tentang Tun dan sesungguhnya saya merasa amat berbangga kerana Malaysia sentiasa dilibatkan oleh 2 perkara iaitu Menara berkembar dan Tun sendiri. Oleh itu teruskan usaha Tun untuk terus memartabatkan bangsa Melayu walaupun dikala ini Tun tidak semungkinnya dapat merealisasikan usaha Tun sendiri. Bangsa melayu sekarang seolah-olah semakin kehilangan Melayunya sendiri. Walaupun setengahnya menganggap Melayu boleh berdikari sendiri, tetapi pada hemah saya Melayu masih perlu dan sentiasa perlukan bimbingan terutama skali daripada kerajaan Melayu itu sendiri. Saya harapkan agar Tun sentiasa sihat walafiat dan sentiasa meneruskan usaha membaiki dan memperkemaskan lagi Melayu kerana Melayu Selalu Lupa. 'Bumis won't hit equity wealth target at current growth pace'

BUMIPUTERAS will not be able to own up to 25 per cent of the nation's equity wealth in 2010 based on the current pace, government economists said.
They also said a loftier target of capturing a 30 per cent cake by 2020 requires Bumiputeras to grow their equity ownership about 15.3 per cent annually.
"At the current growth pace, Bumiputera equity wealth will remain at 18-19 per cent of the total equity wealth in 2020.
"In value terms, the shortage of the targeted 30 per cent portion has soared to RM375 billion," Economic Planning Unit (EPU) adviser Tan Sri Dr Kamal Salih told the Bumiputera Economic Convention in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
Kamal noted that Bumiputera equity in the local bourse had grown 11.8 per cent annually from 1990 till 2004 compared with 12 per cent a year registered by the overall market during the period.
In value terms, Bumiputera equity was worth RM100 billion against the overall market of RM539 billion in 2004.
More recent EPU data provided by EPU director Mat Noor Nawi shows that Bumiputera's equity had risen to 19.4 per cent worth RM120.39 billion in 2006, from 18.9 per cent in 2004.
Of this, 15.1 per cent or RM93.98 billion, was directly held by individuals.
Another 2.6 per cent, or RM16.04 billion, was held by institutions, while the remaining 1.7 per, or RM10.36 billion, by trust agencies.
Kamal also recommended that Gagasan Badan Ekonomi Melayu be given the role to coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Bumi Inc and the industrial cluster approach.
The two initiatives were approved by the National Implementation Task Force under the Ninth Malaysia Plan.

this is the best post i read from you my dearest Tun. i am chinese and i respect 'hak hak istimewa orang melayu' including 7% discount for housing, racial quota for local university seats and much more... the problem is malay themselves didn't appreciate the speciality they have. they never go and update and upgrade themselves and this gives opportunity to other races to part in, especially economy.
i strongly believe all humans are equal, but of course there are some genius like Tun. everyone says chinese is keen in numbers therefore they are good businessmen. i don't really agree with this. if malays really work hard... i mean work with their brains and not only with their strength, they will achieve more.
in my company, malays always get lower pay than other races. the main reason is malays never conribute anything new to the company but just follow the daily routine. they will not use their brain to think of new idea or project for company. furthermore, their working attitude is unacceptable. late, didn't pay attention to their work and always absent or medical leave.
the government didn't do anything to motivate these people but keep on protecting them. i believe because they are too protective, leading them to become lazy and less motivated.
the reason i post this comment is i hope that more malays will upgrade themselves so that malays can still be the 'tuan' in malaysia. everyone wishes their 'tuan' is capable. the very good example is PRU12. if the leader is capable, the party will definately win more.

Discrimination occurs in Chinese own or Chinese control companies.
My dougter having degree in Food science work in a company started with 1300 and after increment RM1500. A chinese came later started at RM1500 thus feeling discriminated inspite of much contribution in many fields..........
My son work in Bank in he feels the discrimination by Chinese and go for new Job.
That is the main reason. So look deep into your heart if you are sincere. I cannot blame you though if you do. But accusing Malay are not good is not true.

Saya faham apa yang Tun katakan tentang UMNO, kurangnya orang melayu mengusai bidang ilmu. Kita tidak terus menerus mengharapkan UMNO, apatahlagi dengan keadaan UMNO yang semakin musnah. Kita sepatutnya menubuhkan parti lain untuk meneruskan perjuangan UMNO. Kita tidak boleh mengharapkan UMNO lagi kerana sesiapa sahaja yang menjadi ahli UMNO sekarang ini adalah semata-mata untuk kekayaan dan kepentingan diri sendiri.
Ini adalah kerana parti UMNO telah mengalami evolusi. Evolusi ini berlaku akibat dari pemerintahan negara yang terus menerus tanpa berlaku pertukaran pemerintahan oleh parti lawanya. Adalah amat sukar untuk mengubati penyakit evolusi dalam parti UMNO mengenai rasuah. Sepatutnya sesebuah parti politik tidak boleh memegang negara terlalu lama. Ia harus betukar-tukar supaya evolusi berlaku pada negara bukannya pada parti yang memerintah.
Saya mencadangkan Tun menubuhkan parti baru untuk memperjuangkan perjuangan untuk agama islam, negara kita dan rakyat Malaysia seluruhnya terutamanya orang melayu. Dengan adanya tunjuk ajar dan idealogi dari Tun, saya percaya negara kita mampu bersaing dengan negara Amerika, Russia dan Jepun.

Dear Mr. Ainaq,
I am sorry to hear the incident happened to your daughter. Somehow i need to give my sincere apologize for the statement i made earlier on July 23, 2008 4:43 PM.
Some chinese owned company does have discrimination. I couldn't doubt about this fact. Do you realized that chinese bosses are more demanding? If you couldn't do your work well, you will not get your increament, get hard times from superior and this will end up by resignation. You will get nothing if you couldn't perform well.
It's true that not all malays are lazy, but i believe most of them are. I am not expecting a genius staffs to work for me but i prefer a pro-active staff who could do contributions to the company. If the staff is not pro-active, good working attitude and responsibility are very appreciated as well.
I have a lot of malay friends and i can get along well with them. Malays are very nice, at least better than Indians where most of them are rude. (Sorry to Indian readers, it is no doubt that most of you are rude but of course there are polite and literated indians and i respect them a lot) But to be honest, chinese and malays have some populations that are rude. Good example is Ah Longs are always chinese lol...
The reason i made earlier statement because i hope that more malays would wake up and they need to understand that malaysia needs their contributions to success. Malaysia needs more hardworking and efficient humans to suceed. Malay is the biggest population in malaysia, therefore i hope all malays would stand up and work hard for our future, for our country and for our next generations.

My father was in the army for 22 years. We lived in army camps from Mentakeb Pahang right down to Batu Cantonment, 4th mile Jalan Ipoh.....iam not a malay but i grew up surrounded with malays. We were great buddies, i even fasted with them during their Ramadan month and we celebrated Hari Raya together. They were just as excited and as eager as i was when it came to celebrating Christmas.
The Malays then and the Malays now are different. Today they r ever so sensetive about anything negative said about them even if it were in good faith. If someone pointed out "MY" mistakes or weaknesses, I'd be very happy that he/she did because one cannot see ones own weakness or mistakes most of the time if not all the time. And i'd thank that peson for it.
But point out a weakness or mistake by the Malays today and we r in for a torrid time.
Fact of the matter is, if we fail/dont want to acknowledge our mistakes and weaknesses, we will never improve. Hence a very big attitude problem. Dont take consolation in the fact that u enjoy the "Ketuanan Melayu" tag....frankly it means and accounts for nothing if u dont live that tag.
Iam not here to raise a debate or to belittle anyone....iam just here to put my two sen worth in the hope that it'll open up someones/anyones eyes to the truth.
And the truth is (amongst the other races out there) Praise the Malays, tell them how good they are, let them drown in their pride even give them a little bow of the head when u cross paths especially with government officers. Because the day they wise up and learn our ways through the actualization of knowledge and change their laid back attitude and start working hard and do away with that "FREE KA" attitude, we will be out of business and jobs.
I say this because my very best friends from childhood to today share the same opinion and it hurts us to see how the Malays have deteriorated over the years.
To my Muslim brothers i say "wake up and see whats going on around u. Every town big or small across the country is dominated by other races....even the Indian Muslim nasi kandar stall/shop/restaurant owners originating from India have made it big against all the odds.

Before i pen off...please (for your own benefit) do not misunderstand what i say here as an insult or a blow to Malays. I have the highest regard and respect for all races. I say what i say because i care for all Malaysians.
A note to TUN
Dear Tun...after 22 years at the helm, and taking into consideration your contributions to the nation especially the manner in which u went about it, I must say, for anyone to have filled your shoes would have been a near impossible task. I cannot see anyone in BN today who can even match your achievements and premiership.
I cant be far wrong to say that Malaysia today is like a ship sailing with no rudder.
May The Almighty always smile down upon you and your family.

Hey hey Mr William, you IS good (or is it are?). During this here present vitriolic air you can speak like that .. its good .. refreshing.
You showed you can be everywhere, yet not here nor there. You speak for the Malays, for the Indians, for the Chinese; yet you are against them at the same time; for them when they are good, against them if they are "bad"; yet you brought out "our ugliness" without touching on it. Beautiful.
You should honor us with more of your postings, enabling more to look at oneself critically humorously; especially those fresh ones.

Ingin tulis dlm English tetapi mungkin ada rakan sebangsaku yg belum dpt menguasai bahasa tersebut sepenuhnya...akhirnya coretan dilakukan dlm bhs ibunda.
Sy menceburi perniagaan Unit Amanah dgn sebuah syarikat unit amanah terbaik di Malaysia...dan syarikat ini dipunyai oleh Cina. Bersama2 bersaing dgn kaum Cina dlm industri ini sgt memotivasikan dan mengentalkan jati diri sy...seorang Melayu.
Bg sy, kita harus akui penguasaan ekonomi Msia masih di bawah kaum Cina walaupun Tanah Melayu ditadbir oleh Tuan Tanah...Melayu. Namun begitu ini bukanlah bermaksud Melayu harus setuju dgn penetapan Kolonial British; yg secara fizikalnya meninggalkan kesan2 jajahan minda dan sistem kpd Tanah ini secara keseluruhannya. Minda Melayu x seharusnya menetapkan penguasaan ini selama2nya...harus juga diekspresikan melalui TINDAKAN kita; sebenarnya.
Sy sgt setuju dgn TokDet...Melayu perlu menguasai ILMU dahulu sebelum mengusai apa2 bidang pun...dlm konteks ini PERNIAGAAN...kerana bidang ini menjadi punca janaan ekonomi. Bukan tidak ada ahli perniagaan Melayu; bilangan dan kesedaran Melayu juga telah meningkat di peringkat umbi.
Walau tidak dinafikan yg Cina M'sia ini agak "chauvinis", namun ada juga di antara mereka yg sgt bertoleransi dgn Melayu...sbg contohnya; kerjasama Cina-Melayu (bukan Melayu-Cina!)dlm industri Unit Amanah ini adalah kerana ingin menguasai market kaum Melayu yg masih 'intact'...maksudnya ada udang sebalik Meggi.
Pandanglah dr sudut positif! Inilah peluang terbuka utk Melayu MENGOREK, MENIMBA biar sekalipun MENDULANG telaga emas (ILMU, ILMU, ILMU) dr kaum ini. Tetapi itu HARUSLAH DIKEJAR, DIHAMBAT dan DIMAMAH sendiri oleh kita bukanlah seperti bayi kecil yg perlu disuapkan makanan ke dlm mulutnya!! Walaupun sekelumit yg kita dapat, 'develop' sendiri ilmu tersebut dgn KEUPAYAAN dan STRATEGI kita sendiri kerana itulah yg akan mematangkan kita dlm perniagaan/ ekonomi.
Bukan kata Cina, sy seorang Melayu sendiri pun TIDAK AKAN mencurahkan ilmu kpd sesiapa pun jika tiada org yg ingin menuntutnya. Tetapi sbg anak bangsa Melayu yg ingin melihat penguasaan Melayu dlm ekonomi, sy tetap 'offer' peluang tersebut pd kaum sebangsa...kerana bg sy MINAT boleh dibentuk.
Ingat lagi kata2 TokDet "Tidak ada jalan shortcut utk berjaya...jika senang dapat, senang juga utk hilang"
